Die verfügbare Menge ist auf 1000 Flaschen für Deutschland begrenzt. Der Ron Zacapa Centenario wird von vielen Kritikern als der Beste Rum der Welt bezeichnet. Die 15 jährige Abfüllung ist erst seit November 2004 auf dem Internationalen Markt. Das Flaggschiff aus dem Hause Zacapa ist aber der Ron Zacapa Centenario 23. Im Februar 2006 wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit des italienischen Importeurs Arnolfini sowie dem Importeur für Deutschland Superpremium Import GmbH der Ron Zacapa Etiqueta Negra mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 43 % eingeführt, der an die Platinum Version aus dem Jahre 2004 erinnern soll und mittlerweile Preise bei Sammlern von über 100 ¤ erzielt. Der Ron Zacapa Aniversario der zum 30 Geburtstag von Zacapa abgefüllt wurde 2007 auf den Internationalen Markt als Limited Edition eingeführt. Voraussichtlich werden ab Mitte 2008 nur noch der 15-, 23-jährige und der Zacapa XO erhältlich sein, da der Vertrieb Weltweit von Diageo übernommen wurde.
